Job summary

Loaf N Jug is seeking a Manager In Training to learn day-to-day operations of a convenience store location, working with Training Managers and Supervising Managers across shifts to gain leadership experience.

Program aims to prepare you to lead store teams, manage guest experiences, and uphold quality control, merchandising, and safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant leadership.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile; deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and keep shelves in stock.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety where hot foods are offered.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store interior and exterior, including coffee and food areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Support food service operation and other duties as assigned by the Store or District Manager.
