Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development track designed to learn full store operations including front-end and pharmacy. The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, rotations, and development plans with leadership oversight.

Participants engage in customer-facing service, coaching, and performance reviews while shadowing the Store Manager to build readiness for permanent assignment in store leadership roles across Walgreens locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation of a Walgreens store under the direction of the Store Manager.
• Shadows Store Manager to learn and lead store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Supports store operations by shadowing or assisting in learning journey and deployment of SOPs.
• Learns and applies compliance SOPs across front-end and pharmacy; gains familiarity with systems and software.
• Provides customer service coaching, analyzes feedback, and improves service metrics.
