Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated development program designed to prepare you for a Store Manager role. You will learn full store operations across front-end and pharmacy, shadow the Store Manager, and complete required certifications within the specified timeframe.

You will participate in classroom and on-the-job training, including rotations to other area stores, while following development plans and learning Walgreens’ SOPs and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years retail management experience or HS/GED with 5 years retail management experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.
• Willingness to become Store Manager in the placement area.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens’ operations and lead full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Under Store Manager, oversee front-end and pharmacy store operations.
• Shadow Store Manager to learn and perform management tasks during the learning journey.
• Complete accelerated program and obtain required certifications for Store Manager role.
• Participate in rotations across stores to meet development objectives.
• Implement SOPs and learn HR/people management systems.
• Support in customer experience enhancements and performance coaching.
