Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a candidate to participate in an accelerated Store Manager development track across front-end and pharmacy operations in a Walgreens store. You will learn to lead the store, shadow the Store Manager, and complete rotations across locations to gain hands-on experience in both retail and pharmacy settings.

The program includes classroom and on-the-job training, with emphasis on SOPs, compliance, and leadership development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

Shadow Store Manager to supervise store and team members, including opening/closing shifts and delegating tasks.
Learn merchandising tasks and price/promo setups across departments.
Assist in protecting store assets and monitoring loss prevention systems.
Analyze inventory trends and ensure proper receiving, pricing, and stock transfers.
Support compliance with laws and company policies while coordinating safety.
