Walgreens in the United States is offering an accelerated Store Manager development program designed to fast-track high-potential associates into leadership roles. Participants learn both front-end and pharmacy operations while rotating through required trainings.

Under the Store Manager, trainees shadow operations, complete a rigorous certification track, and develop skills in customer experience, inventory management, and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens’ operations to lead full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager and assist in leading the store during the learning journey.
• Complete accelerated development program and obtain required certifications.
• Engage customers, resolve complaints, and model customer service best practices.
• Monitor store performance metrics and support inventory, asset protection, and SOP adherence.
