Job summary

Walgreens offers an accelerated Store Manager development program in the United States. Trainees will learn full store operations across front-end and pharmacy under the Store Manager, with rotations and certifications to prepare for Store Manager roles.

The program includes classroom, online and on-the-job training, development plans with the District Manager, and exposure to operations, customer service, and people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3 years retail management experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.
• Possesses or pursues PTCB certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Shadow Store Manager to learn operations and lead store operations.
• Supervise front-end and pharmacy operations.
• Monitor customer service trends and coach team.
• Participate in community events planning.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies.
• Analyze store and pharmacy performance and develop improvement plans.
• Assist in asset protection and loss prevention.
