The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is a developmental role that prepares employees for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16‑week self‑paced, collaborative training experience.

Key Skills

• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with leaders in key learning experiences to support promotion during the structured program
• Support the store as a management‑team member and lead consistently with CVS values and policies

• Be willing to accept promotion roles within the designated market

Requirements & Eligibility

• Willingness to accept a Store Manager role at any location in the designated market
• Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the market
• Ability to work a schedule that varies with business needs
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant work experience may be considered
• Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor
• Basic proficiency in using technology for store operations

Pay & Hours

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 45

Time Type: Full time

Pay Range: $18.50 – $23.88 per hour (base hourly rate or annual salary; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, etc.)
