Position Overview

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development‑focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The program supports your growth over a 16‑week, self‑paced curriculum and hands‑on learning. Training is delivered virtually and in‑store with support from a District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach.

Key Skills

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to support and lead the team.
• Provide high‑level customer care service.
• Execute merchandising strategies that drive store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $18.50 – $26.25 per hour.

This range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in the job grade. The final base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
