Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks a Manager Trainee to learn the Store Manager duties and develop the skills for advancement. You will focus on delivering Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, driving sales, and managing inventory and profit.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, and coordinating with store leadership to ensure top performance, while supporting merchandise presentation and store operations daily.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Education: High school diploma; Bachelor’s in Agricultural-Science or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, developing, evaluating, disciplining, and retaining team members.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service per GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend solutions, add value, appreciate the customer.
• Schedule and plan daily activities for store operations.
• Lead team to deliver a Legendary shopping experience.
• Manage inventory and in-stock levels; organize merchandise resets.
• Train on paperwork processing, forecasts, and budget reviews.
