Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to learn the duties of a Store Manager and develop leadership skills. The role focuses on delivering Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, driving sales, and managing inventory and shrink.

You will undergo extensive training, working with district and regional leaders to ensure store performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction across our rural lifestyle stores.

Qualifications

• Experience: Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, developing, evaluating, and retaining efficient team members.
• Delivering on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA.
• Schedule, organize, and plan daily activities for team members to ensure efficient store operations.
• Manage the daily merchandise flow and inventory controls.
