Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn the duties of the Store Manager role and develop leadership skills. You will guide a team to deliver Legendary Customer Service, manage inventory, and drive sales while ensuring accurate paperwork and compliance.

The role emphasizes training on budgeting, payroll analysis, and store operations, with expectations of long hours during peak seasons and a commitment to community involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and supervisory roles preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Education: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural-Science or Business is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, develop, evaluate and retain store team members.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through our GURA framework.
• Schedule and organize daily activities to ensure smooth store operations.
• Manage inventory and merchandise flow to maintain in-stock levels.
• Train on budgeting, payroll analysis and sales forecasting.
• Support District/Regional managers to solve issues and drive growth.
