Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in supervision, staffing, inventory, stocking, and store operations. This role will develop external candidates for the Store Manager track and be held for a limited period.

Responsibilities include recruiting support, merchandising, inventory management, cash handling, and ensuring store standards. Strong leadership and adherence to company policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in a leadership or managerial position.
• Two or more years of experience in a retail grocery store.
• Experience in recruitment and staffing activities is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assists with store merchandising and staging of merchandise per direction.
• Assists in all aspects of inventory management and prepares inventories.
• Follows ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Acts as a role model by following company procedures and policies.
• Participates in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensures safe deposit of all company funds.
• Maintains financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash control.
• Maintains clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment.
• Operates store in store manager's absence.
• Reviews operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Completes all paperwork and documentation on time.
