Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all facets of store operations and drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitability. You will lead staff, promote loyalty programs, and ensure a clean, well-organized shopping environment while modeling exceptional customer service and compliance with company policies.

You will be responsible for staffing, training, inventory control, and ensuring accurate POS transactions, with a focus on delivering outstanding experiences to every guest.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide best-in-class guest service and assist guests with their gaming needs.
• Manage POS transactions and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Promote GameStop loyalty and reservation programs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop store associates.
• Ensure onboarding and training compliance before shifts.
• Schedule staff and manage payroll/time off approvals.
• Oversee store inventory, shrink, and loss prevention.
