Job summary

GameStop in Williston, ND is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, drive sales, guest service, and profitability. You will oversee staffing, training, inventory, loss prevention, and daily financial tasks while promoting a culture of exceptional guest experiences.

You will recruit and develop associates, ensure compliance, coordinate omni‑channel orders, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor, providing leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model guest service excellence and promote selling behaviors.
• Support store environment, visual and operational elements, and current sales initiatives.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS accurately and maintain top guest service.
• Respond to guest questions in person or by phone with courtesy and professionalism.
• Promote GameStop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop high‑performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and compliance before shifts; enforce policies and loss prevention.
