Job summary

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, and promote promotions.
• Support store environment, visuals, and current sales initiatives to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS with accuracy and courtesy.
• Respond to guest questions in person or by phone, and follow GameStop phone protocols.
• Promote GameStop guest benefits (reservations, trade-in, Pro Rewards).
• Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain high-performing associates.
• Ensure onboarding, training, and policy compliance before shifts.”
• Schedule associates and manage staffing for optimal guest service.
• Approve payroll, edit time off, and ensure accurate compensation.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization; ensure merchandise is stocked, labeled, and accessible.
• Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily.
• Conduct inventory counts and loss-prevention measures; manage bank deposits.
• Lead team to meet or exceed sales, profit, and shrink goals; perform required admin duties.
• Maintain store records and ensure policies on safety are followed.
