Job summary

Ballard Designs in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Store Manager to lead a stellar team and deliver an inspiring guest experience daily. You will promote the Ballard Designs brand at every guest encounter and ensure store programs, standards, and service reflect our values.

This onsite role requires 5+ years of retail management, a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and proficiency with store systems. You will recruit, train, and develop staff while driving sales and payroll efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in specialty retail or multi-unit retail environments.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Kronos, and POS systems.
• Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make plans & improve EBITDA by creating the most fantastic place to work and shop by delivering an exceptional Guest experience.
• Develop a strategy to increase sales and build guest loyalty through store programs, including Design Services, Ballard Designs Private Label Credit Card, community outreach, and additional corporate and regional events throughout the year
• Recruit, Train, and Develop Team Members in all open positions
• Forecast and adjust monthly payroll to maximize productivity, achieve sales/payroll goals, and complete workload.
