Qualifications

• Matric with mathematics is required.
• 3–5 years retail experience as an Assistant Manager/Supervisor.
• Computer literate; ability to operate till and POS systems.
• Further retail/business qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff.
• Managing staff and budgets (P&L, payroll).
• Maintaining financial and statistical records (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Handling customer queries and complaints; ensuring high service levels.
• Overseeing pricing, stock control and merchandising.
• Maximizing profitability and achieving sales targets.
• Visual merchandising and housekeeping; stock management.
• Ensure safety rules and proper stockroom layout.
