Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Store Manager in San Diego to lead day-to-day store operations at Fashion Valley Mall. You will develop strategies to improve customer service, drive sales and profitability, and execute promotional directives to expand the customer base.

The role requires directing staffing, scheduling, and recruiting, while maintaining high store standards and a positive environment. Strong leadership and POS/software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or applicable certification or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of functional experience.
• Experience managing individual contributors or leading a department.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive financial/operational decisions.
• Experience operating a POS system and various software packages.

Responsabilités

• Lead store team to develop, evaluate, and coach staff to maintain high service levels.
• Inspire and develop associates to meet growth plans and career paths.
• Deliver operating budgets and manage expenses to meet profitability targets.
• Ensure accuracy of all store operations functions including Front and Back House.
• Maintain records for applicants, hires, payroll, performance reviews and terminations.
• Maintain inventory levels through replenishment, shrink control, and communication.
• Regularly communicate with Area/District Manager on market info and successes.
