Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Retail Manager - Operations to lead one or more sales departments, maintain planograms, and drive sales goals. You will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff while optimizing customer service and store operations.

Responsibilities include merchandising, pricing, inventory control, and program promotion, with accountability for opening/closing, and Manager on Duty duties. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in Retail Management leading one or more Sales Departments.
• Ability to calculate discounts, commissions and percentages.
• Ability to read and analyze reports and write business correspondence.
• Proficient with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets and POS/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise one or more Sales Departments and ensure merchandise presentation, pricing and inventory control.
• Open/close the store and assume Manager on Duty responsibilities.
• Recruit, train, coach and schedule staff; conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Provide excellent customer service, resolve issues, and promote loyalty programs.
