Job summary

Walgreensis seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day store and pharmacy operations, optimize sales, protect assets, and deliver a distinctive customer and patient experience. You will supervise shifts, staffing, inventory, and merchandising while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of retail management (or 5 years with a HS diploma), with pharmacy licensure requirements as applicable, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years retail management experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of management experience.
• Pharmacy technician licensure as required by state, or licensed RPh as soon as possible within 12 months of start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• We will consider applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and improves customer service and training across retail and pharmacy.
• Oversees store and pharmacy operations, scheduling, and bookkeeping.
• Plans daily tasks and assigns responsibilities to team members.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to drive sales and reduce costs.
• Identifies sales opportunities and manages inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock.
• Manages team performance, coaching, hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Participates in training and development, including Walgreens training programs and pharmacy-related requirements.
• Acts as liaison among district, corporate, and store operations and coordinates community outreach.
