Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity available at our Costa Mesa South Costa Plaza Boutique. We are seeking a Store Manager with extensive experience working in management within a luxury environment.

Role:

The Store Manager is responsible for managing and operating a single store. They must be familiar with all systems, methods, and procedures involved in the operation of this store. The Store Manager is responsible for properly applying all guidelines and should enforce established standards at all times. The central focus is achieving sales plans by maximizing productivity of all available resources while maintaining the integrity and image of the brand.

Mission:
  1. Achievement of Store Sales Goals.
  2. Control of Store expenses.
  3. Ensure exemplary levels of client service through constant monitoring, assessing, and coaching of staff while managing client development.
  4. Ensure stock fill-in on basics and purchase assortment to achieve store goals.
  5. Maintain merchandise presentation to support collection direction and maximize sales.
  6. Oversee overall store presentation, including maintenance, housekeeping, professionalism, and organization.
  7. Ensure smooth store operations through confident and knowledgeable decision-making, considering consequences, alternatives, and available resources.
  8. Manage inventory control.
  9. Manage staff effectively through coaching and development.
  10. Recruit the best candidates.
  11. Allocate 25% of the role to training and development, ensuring staff are knowledgeable about products, client service, systems, procedures, and teamwork. Develop personnel development plans with clear, measurable goals.
  12. Create a positive environment that fosters high morale and team spirit, encouraging group activities, contests, and employee benefits with prior approval.
  13. Review and approve all schedules to ensure adequate coverage, including daily, weekly, and vacation schedules, and synchronize managers’ schedules for proper management presence.
  14. Conduct weekly store meetings to communicate employee and sales issues, product knowledge, etc., and review daily priorities each morning.
  15. Recommend sales and marketing strategies to achieve goals.
  16. Maintain effective communication with clients, staff, and the corporate office.
Profile:
  1. 5+ years of high-volume retail management experience, preferably in the luxury sector.
  2. Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills.
  4. Ability to assess priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  5. Collaborative and proactive attitude.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $140,000, plus variable commission. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, 401(k), FSA plans, and more. Total compensation depends on educational background, experience, and industry knowledge.
