Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. in Rock Hill, SC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance or Cash Store. You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory excellence while supporting store operations.

The role involves educating customers on product options, handling cash, complying with federal and state regulations, training staff, and traveling to nearby stores as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance
• Ability to embrace core values of accountable, inclusive, transparent, and focused

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio and options.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, and corporate office when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process applications.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls per regulations.
• Respond professionally and clearly to customers with solutions.
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information.
• Handle currency and cash deposits, manage cash drawer and bank pickups.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely acknowledgment.
• Other duties as assigned.
