Job summary

This interim role develops external candidates for the Store Manager position and supports a smooth transition within the store team.

You will help recruit, stage merchandise, manage stock, monitor in-store targets, and ensure customer service excellence while maintaining cash control and store safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations including percentages and totals.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and report generation.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Understanding of safety and cash control policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and proper pricing and signing.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, and stock checks.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Operate store in the manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and cost control.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on deadlines.
