Job summary

Tharp Consulting is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in operating the store, supervising staff, handling staffing, managing inventory, merchandising, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will assist with recruiting, training, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked environment, ensuring store security and financial integrity through cash handling and POS operations, and expense control.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of retail practices, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; retail experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees, staffing, inventory management, merchandising and customer service.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked environment.
• Ensure store security and financial integrity through cash handling and POS operations.
• Manage expense control and daily financial processes.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures and review sales data for trends.
• Complete all required documentation and reporting.

Job description

The Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in executing store operations, including

employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

They assist with recruiting, training, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked environment, ensuring store

security and financial integrity through cash handling, cash register operations, and expense control.

Additionally, they participate in opening and closing procedures, review sales and inventory data to identify

business trends, and complete all required documentation.
