Roberts Oxygen Company is seeking a Store Manager to lead our Lancaster, PA team. You will drive store sales, manage operations, payroll, and inventory while ensuring top-tier customer service and safety.

The role focuses on growth, profitability, and teamwork within a fast-paced industrial and medical gases environment. Responsibilities include setting annual goals, forecasting profits, directing inside sales, routing, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales or related experience in the compressed and medical gases industry.
• Experience supervising store sales, operations and payroll processes.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet searching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual store business goals and measure progress against sales and profit targets.
• Forecast store yearly sales, gross profit and net contribution.
• Supervise inside sales, fill room, distribution, and routing of trucks; manage vacations and staff training.
• Monitor hours, payroll, and on-call program; manage end of day reports and deposits.
• Manage store inventory and merchandise effectively in retail/branch store.
• Maintain strong customer relations and stay informed on products and industry trends.

Responsibilities and requirements:

• Assesses store area potential and develops annual store business goals to ensure continued development of current business and the addition of new business
• Responsible for store yearly sales, gross profit, and net contribution forecast
• Supervises inside sales, fill room, distribution, and routing of trucks to fulfill needs. Develops strong internal working relations creating partnerships to resolve conflicts between employees or departments. Assists in vacation scheduling and branch staff training
• Monitors employee hours to ensure store meets budget and processes weekly payroll timely and schedules vacations for employees, and manages on-call program. Processes end of day sales report, daily deposits, open orders and confirmation of all tickets. Responsible for distribution and routing of drivers and trucks.

• Manages and monitors store inventory and properly merchandise goods in the retail/branch store
• Effectively advocates, questions, and listens to acquire information on needs, wants, position, and interests of the customer - represents the Company and proactively maintains customer relations
• Stays aware of current products, services, and industry trends
• 3 years of sales or related experience in the compressed and medical gases industry
• Strong computers skills and usage of FACTS and Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet searching
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Spanish bilingual is a plus
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Class A or B CDL driver’s license with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; ability to obtain such within 3 months
• Excellent driving record and ability to pass pre-employment screenings
