Job summary

Roberts Oxygen in Orlando, FL seeks an Inside Sales, Counter Sales Representative to deliver outstanding customer service, handle product inquiries, and generate cost estimates.

You will greet walk-in customers, process sales, maintain showroom displays, stock shelves, and support the sales team while coordinating with the Store Manager. This role requires reliability, safety adherence, and basic computer data entry.

Qualifications

• 2 years of inside sales and customer service experience, or welding experience
• Greet and assist walk-in customers and answer phones professionally
• Provide customer service through interactions about services, products, and invoices
• Process sales transactions efficiently while building customer relationships
• Coordinate with Sales/Store Manager to maintain product levels and showroom displays
• Safely maneuver and load cylinders or other products
• Fill cylinders and operate liquid filling production equipment
• Demonstrate reliability with attendance and adherence to safety procedures
• Basic computer skills including data entry and internet research
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Spanish bilingual preferred and Class A/B CDL preferred or obtainable
• Pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

You have proven skills in providing excellent and effective customer service assisting both external and internal customers with product inquiries, cost estimates, and sales. Your passion is selling and you have general knowledge of welding products and hardgoods.

Skills and experience requirements:

• 2 years of insides sales and customer service, or welding experience
• Immediately and politely greets and assists walk-in visitors and customers, and promptly answers phones in a professional and courteous manner
• Proven customer service experience provided through thoughtful and respectful interaction with customers regarding services, products, and invoices
• Efficiently processes customer sales transactions while building trust and long-term relationships with customers to ensure future sales growth and company profitability
• Supports Sales staff/management by providing timely and correct customer information, follow up scheduling, and fill-in branch coverage
• Timely communicates and coordinates with Store Manager to ensure appropriate product levels are maintained. Receives and updates inventory, stocks shelves, counters, tables, and maintains showroom displays. Maintains show room and location cleanliness
• Safely maneuvers and loads cylinders or other products on trailers and customer transportation
• Fill cylinders and safely operate liquid filling production equipment
• Committed to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits, Adheres to all company policies and guidelines as well as safety procedures
• Basic computer skills including internet searching, data entry, and ability to learn new programs
• Demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude and function
• Ability to lift 75lbs.
• High school education or equivalent - Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Spanish bilingual is preferred
• Excellent driving record; Class A or B CDL preferred or ability to obtain
• If selected, ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
