Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is hiring a Store Manager for our Sacramento location. You will oversee leasing, manage staff, oversee maintenance, and coordinate with home office to ensure excellent tenant relations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, customer focus, and the ability to drive occupancy. Starting wage is $21.00 per hour with bonus opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance.
• Computer literate with solid office skills.
• Take-charge/can-do mentality yet able to follow set procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lease storage and parking to customers and manage a busy front desk.
• Lead and develop a store team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Assist with maintenance and supervise onsite projects.
• Coordinate with home office and maintain relationships with tenants and vendors.
• Keep the facility rented at optimal levels and ensure compliance with policies.
• Prepare units for auction and vacate units as required by law.

Store Manager (Store #1082, Sacramento, CA) Job Summary

This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including: leasing storage & parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising onsite projects, communicating with home office team, and maintaining good relationships with tenants. SmartStop Store Managers contribute to a successful property by running an organized office, engaging positively with customers, earnestly following up on leads, maintaining existing business relationships with clients and vendors, and communicating clearly with the entire management team.
