Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. You will ensure proper staffing, monitor inventory, and present merchandise while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsible for managing store operations, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Ensures proper staffing, maintains inventory accuracy, and oversees ordering, stocking, and presentation of merchandise. Provides exceptional customer service, maintains a clean and safe environment, and enforces company policies and safety standards. Evaluates financial performance using operating statements and manages expenses, shrink, and stock levels. Ensures store security through cash handling and key controls. Facilitates effective communication with staff and supports their development while fostering teamwork. Adheres to legal labor practices and company procedures.
Requires effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, cash handling, and safety policies. Ability to perform basic math and operate cash registers. Preference for bilingual Spanish speakers in some locations. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail is advantageous.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional climbing, outside weather exposure, and driving for store-related tasks. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
