Job summary

RoShay Services is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee daily store performance, staff scheduling, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead recruitment, training, and coaching, monitor inventory accuracy, analyze sales trends, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards, while maintaining a welcoming, organized store.

Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations, staff, and processes to ensure efficient functioning and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Conduct performance reviews, address performance issues, and recommend pay adjustments and advancements.
• Oversee store opening and closing, ensuring proper staffing and security.
• Analyze operating statements to identify trends, control expenses, and optimize profitability.
• Manage inventory through ordering, stocking, cycle counts, and presentation according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, control damages and markdowns, and ensure cash handling and security procedures are followed.
• Lead customer service initiatives, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Experience in recruiting, performance management, and legal compliance.
• Preferred high school diploma and management experience; bilingual skills may be advantageous.
