Job summary

Flowerama is seeking a full-time Retail Manager with strong customer service and retail experience to lead daily store operations and supervise staff. The role focuses on profitability, inventory control, and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced floral environment.

The ideal candidate has prior retail management experience, solid communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management & sales experience.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.
• Floral Design experience helpful but not mandatory
• Ability to work as part of a team while completing tasks in a timely manner
• Typing Ability (30 WPM)
• Point of Sale experience is a plus
• Strong communications and strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication ability
• Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours daily, and up to 10 hours seasonally
• Commitment to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced creative environment. We are open Monday - Friday 7:00am-7pm, Saturday 8am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. The management team gets Sundays off during non-seasonal times. Please note that during busy holiday times, hour of operation will be extended to meet the needs of our customers. Employees are also expected to work extended hours during Valentine's Day and Mother's Day weeks, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Essential Job Functions

• Be able to perform and train the essential job functions of retail sales associates and be knowledgeable enough to oversee the floral designer so store maintains profitability.
