Store Managers at Dollar Tree are responsible for:

1. Managing the profitable operation of a retail store, focusing on recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in operations and merchandising.
2. Performing all opening and closing procedures.
3. Implementing operational and merchandising directives from the Store Support Center.
4. Maintaining high standards of merchandising, signage, and display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
5. Maximizing your store's profit contribution.
6. Protecting company assets.
7. Providing high-quality customer service.
8. Engaging in creative problem solving in areas such as associate development, sales maximization, expense control, merchandise display, and signage placement.

Qualifications needed:

• Minimum of 3 years retail management experience.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus.
• Strong skills in freight processing and productivity management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy team environment.
