Job summary

Macy's is offering an 8-week Store Management Internship nationwide, June–August 2027. You will gain exposure to customer service, merchandising, business analysis, and store operations while working on leadership projects.

As a key member of the store leadership team, you will learn daily operations, coaching skills, and data-driven merchandising decisions in a fast-paced environment with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Junior-year students eligible; all majors considered.
• Willingness to learn across store operations and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales & Customer Experience leadership to learn best practices and receive feedback.
• Shadow Operations and Visual Merchandising leaders to plan merchandising initiatives.
• Engage with store and regional leaders across functions.
• Develop a customer-focused selling environment by coaching colleagues.
• Support daily store operations through training and guidance.
• Analyze trends with partners to select merchandise meeting customer needs.
• Present a project to store leadership showing growth ideas.
