Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Maintenance Associate at our Eickhoff NJ location to deliver a great customer experience by performing maintenance and janitorial duties store-wide. You will help keep premises clean, safe, and attractive, supporting Store Management with daily tasks and ensuring a sanitary shopping environment.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable attendance. Candidates should be 18+ and able to work varied shifts, including overtime.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling as directed by Store Management.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and plumbing fixtures.
• Replenish paper and soap in restrooms.
• Clean, mop, sweep, and maintain floor areas as directed.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain clean, organized store environment and report equipment issues.
• Follow safety policies and use of cleaning chemicals per HazCom.
