Job summary

ShopRite of East Windsor is seeking a Maintenance Associate to provide friendly customer service and perform janitorial duties across the store. You will ensure clean, sanitary premises and fixtures, supporting store management with daily maintenance tasks and safety routines.

The role emphasizes reliability, ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and adherence to safety and store policies. Compensation aligns with hourly maintenance pay in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash and recycling containers.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and fixtures.
• Replenish paper and soap supplies in restrooms.
• Clean, mop, sweep, and maintain floor areas as directed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
