Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Maintenance Associate to keep our store clean, safe, and well‑maintained. You will focus on interiors and exterior areas, perform routine cleaning, assist with unloading and stocking, and address safety concerns with proactive reporting.

The role requires attention to detail, basic repair capabilities, and a customer‑focused approach to support a positive shopping experience for our guests. A flexible schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or supervisory roles is preferred.
• Strong math and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible 40-hour schedule including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
• Sweep, mop, and operate floor scrubber regularly.
• Empty trash and manage waste in and around the store.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms with supplies.
• Repair minor issues and report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist with unloading, stocking, and merchandising.
