Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Maintenance Associate to uphold store cleanliness and safety across inside and exterior areas. You will perform routine cleaning, operate floor scrubbers, handle basic repairs, and assist with stocking and merchandising as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, strong math for cash handling, and excellent communication to support staff and customers. Flexibility with hours including weekends is essential to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of retail cashier or supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong math for cash handling.
• Excellent communication skills to direct staff and assist customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Willingness to work varied hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and maintenance to uphold store appearance and hygiene.
• Sweep, mop, and use floor scrubber to maintain safe surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace bags to keep environment tidy.
• Clean and stock restrooms and breakrooms with supplies.
• Wipe surfaces and fixtures to maintain-polished presentation.
• Conduct basic repairs and report safety hazards to supervisor.
• Assist in unloading trucks, stocking, and merchandising when possible.
• Maintain exterior by managing parking lot cleanliness.
