Job summary

Fairway Markets is seeking a Store Detective in New York to protect assets and deter theft. You will monitor customer, vendor, and associate activity, using observation and CCTV tools, while ensuring a safe shopping environment.

You will interact with customers, follow loss prevention procedures, and collaborate with store teams to minimize shrink and maintain store appearance and safety.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English clearly.
• Stand/walk for full shifts.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Tolerance to dust and cleaning agents.
• Work in varying store temperatures.
• Ability to travel to store locations.

Responsibilities

• Protect Company assets by monitoring store activities.
• Detect theft by customers, associates, and vendors.
• Apprehend suspects in accordance with policy and law.
• Support investigations and communicate findings to management.
• Maintain security of entrances and adjust to store operations.
