Job summary

7-Eleven in Michigan’s Lansing area is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join a hands-on management team. You will work closely with the Store Leader, oversee staff, coach and train team members, and help drive excellent customer service and store performance.

This role offers full-time hours, advancement opportunities, and a chance to lead operations, merchandising, and promotions while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers every day.

Qualifications

• Oversee customer service leadership with Store Leader and all store employees.
• Demonstrated strength in retaining staff by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders and empowering employees.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader.
• Maintain high retention by fostering staff development and empowerment.
• Implement merchandising and marketing programs at the store level.
• Handle cash and fuel transactions and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment compliant with health and sanitation procedures.
