Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Leader, supervise staff, and drive exceptional customer service. This full-time role offers leadership development and competitive pay.

You will oversee daily operations, assist in recruiting and developing team members, manage merchandising programs, cash handling, and loyalty promotions, with a focus on safety and stock availability.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants and developing leaders.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Ensure a clean, safe store environment by following health and sanitation procedures.
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for daily store tasks.
