Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a leadership or managerial position.
• Two or more years of experience in a retail grocery store strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assists with store merchandising by facilitating staging, stocking and storage of merchandise; ensures merchandise is presented per established practices and manager direction.
• Assists in all aspects of inventory management and prepares/executes inventories.
• Follows prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Operates store in store manager's absence and participates in opening/closing activities.
