Job summary

Buckle in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Management Trainee to develop leadership skills while delivering an outstanding guest experience and strong merchandise presentation. Under the Store Manager, you will perform sales, merchandising and operational duties, recruit and coach teammates, and learn how to manage a store to eventually assume the Store Manager role in their absence.

This on-site role offers hands-on training in recruiting, coaching, scheduling, and loss prevention, with a clear path

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for consideration
• 1–3 months of related retail experience and/or training, or equivalent
• No visa sponsorship available for this position

Responsibilities

• Fulfill Buckle's mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests
• Perform sales, merchandising and operational tasks (cashier, displays, register procedures, store cleanliness)
• Work with Store Manager to develop sales, recruiting and leadership skills
• Train and motivate teammates; act as Store Manager in their absence
• Recruiting, coaching and counseling teammates per Buckle policies
• Maintain store standards, perform opening/closing procedures, and monitor inventory
