Job summary

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) at CVS Health is a development-focused program designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. Over 16 weeks, you will participate in self-paced, collaborative training with support from a District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach.

You'll gain hands-on and virtual learning experiences to grow as a leader, with exposure to merchandising, customer care, and store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Retail management experience or CVS supervisor experience preferred.
• A four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop leadership through 16-week training and hands-on store exposure.
• Support store team as a manager-in-training and uphold CVS values.
• Lead in merchandising, customer care, and store operations to drive results.
• Position for Store Manager role with promotion based on performance and openings.
