Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to develop future store leaders through a 16-week, self-paced and collaborative training, with both virtual and hands-on experiences. You will be supported by a district leader, HR business partner, and a coaching store manager.

The role emphasizes promotion readiness, adherence to CVS values, and leadership development toward store management across designated markets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; a four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered.
• Strong communication skills in person, on the phone, and in writing.
• Retail management experience or CVS supervisor experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences during the 16-week program.
• Support your store as a management team member and lead in line with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues in support of CVS’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be willing to accept promotion roles with the market you work in.
• Willingness to transfer to CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
• Work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
