Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking the Store Manager Trainee to develop leadership skills by running daily store operations, supervising associates, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will learn to manage scheduling, merchandising, and store standards while partnering with district leadership to drive sales and operational excellence across locations within the division.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops store personnel to meet performance goals.
• Plans and executes action plans to improve operating results.
• Responds to employee and customer concerns with guidance from district leadership.
• Interviews candidates and participates in staffing decisions.
• Manages personnel, including advancement and termination where appropriate.
• Ensures compliance with policies and store standards and safety requirements.
• Drives sales and customer satisfaction through leadership and teamwork.
• Plans weekly schedules and monitors expenses and inventory to minimize losses.
