Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to learn through hands-on leadership experience and lead daily store operations. You will manage stock, merchandising, customer service, and store standards while partnering with associates to drive results.

This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on duties across all store functions, including scheduling, coaching, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience in a retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lead store personnel and meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager.
• Interviews candidates and recommends for advancement.
• Manages personnel including promotions and terminations.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
• Plans and conducts store team meetings and training sessions.
• Prepares weekly schedules and manages expense and inventory controls.
• Maintains store standards and safe working environment.
• Full-time travel: training at multiple locations within divisional requirements.
