Jiffy Lube International in Rocky Point, NY is seeking a Manager in Training I to lead and train store teammates while ensuring smooth daily operations. You will oversee both on-the-job and computer-based training, uphold attendance, safety, and uniform standards, and participate in store safety and policy meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience; automotive experience is a plus.
• Must be able to motivate and inspire Teammates.
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide store-level leadership to Teammates through coaching, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Manage the financial health of the store through sales, inventory and cash controls, store-level marketing, guest satisfaction and Profit & Loss responsibility.
• Build and develop a winning team using recruiting tools and retention strategies.
• Create Teammate work schedules, ensuring proper coverage and business needs are met.
• Set the example for guest service, including appropriate resolution of guest complaints.
• Ensure the building, equipment and grounds are well maintained.
