Job summary

Buckle in Schaumburg, IL is hiring for an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to help create an enjoyable shopping experience for guests. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team on sales, merchandising, and operations, while training Teammates and stepping in for the Manager when needed.

The role progresses from AIT to Assistant Manager, with duties expanding to high-level leadership tasks, recruitment, and team development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related retail experience and/or training or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary guest service while assisting with sales and product knowledge.
• Lead by example in daily operations, merchandising, and checkout procedures.
• Support training and development of Teammates; assist Store Manager in coaching.
• Assist with recruiting, scheduling, and day-to-day store leadership duties.
