Job summary

Buckle in Kokomo, IN is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and Leadership Team in delivering the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests.

This role blends sales, merchandising and daily operations with a clear path from AIT to an Assistant Manager, including training and mentoring Teammates. You will lead by example, coach staff, and help recruit talent while upholding Buckle standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Lead and coach Teammates, developing skills and performance.
• Assist Store Manager in daily operations and achieving sales goals.
• Train and motivate Teammates, acting as Store Manager in their absence.
• Maintain merchandising standards and ensure excellent guest experience.
