Job summary

Buckle in Kokomo, IN is hiring an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager to drive exceptional guest experiences and sales performance. You will train teammates, recruit new talent, and lead in the Store Manager's absence while maintaining Buckle’s standards for service, merchandising, and operations.

The role blends sales leadership with hands-on duties across guest service, training, and visual presentation, supporting store goals and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and cover other stores within District.
• No visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise.
• Assist guests with locating merchandise and create wardrobe recommendations.
• Lead by example with showmanship and high level customer service.
• Recruit, train, and develop Teammates; coach and mentor.
• Maintain store operations including opening/closing, loss prevention, and safety practices.
• Conduct interviews as needed to support team development and growth.
