Job summary

Rent-A-Center is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead daily store activities in Laurel, MS. You will drive sales goals, oversee collections, and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service while protecting company assets and inventory.

Minimum 3–5 years in retail/management is required, plus completion of RAC's Store Manager Development Program. A valid driver's license and proficiency with store software are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience
• Completion of RAC's Store Manager Development Program during training period
• Computer literacy in store operation applications
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record—will drive company vehicles

Responsibilities

• Sales: set daily/weekly goals, oversee coworker sales activities, approve rental agreements, monitor revenue and growth
• Account management: oversee collections, follow up on accounts needing intervention, train coworkers on procedures
• Leadership: manage profits, ensure policy compliance, protect assets, oversee inventory, pricing, and cash handling
• Coworker management: train and develop staff, schedule activities, hire for store, reduce turnover, train for customer service excellence
